A Quiet Axis Forms Against Iran in the Middle East

Israel and the Arab states near the Persian Gulf recognize a common threat: the regime in Tehran
asked whether the UAE would support a possible Israeli air strike against the regime in Tehran, Ambassador Otaiba said: "A military attack on Iran by whomever would be a disaster, but Iran with a nuclear weapon would be a bigger disaster
Notwithstanding the shocking nature of his remarks, Otaiba was merely expressing, in a public forum, "the standard position of many Arab countries

The fact that some Western politicians are unfamiliar with this position has to do with their own ignorance, and with the diplomatic skill with which the smaller Gulf states, in particular, have managed to hide their opposition to their powerful neighbor until now.

Saudi Arabia had recently "conducted tests to stand down its air defenses to enable Israeli jets to make a bombing raid on Iran's nuclear facilities

Loneliness?

Does everyone get lonely sometimes

One of our main aims is to help people enjoy good mental health. We want to raise awareness of the importance of spending time with others because research shows that social contact is good for our mental and physical well-being.

In life, it is not uncommon to feel lonely at one time or another. But when experienced for a long time, loneliness can be detrimental to our well-being.

By raising awareness of loneliness we hope to tackle the stigma that surrounds it, and help individuals who are feeling lonely to connect with others.

For some, this may be a case of picking up the telephone to arrange to see a friend, volunteering for a local charity to meet some new people, or joining a local sports club.

What is loneliness?

What happens when we feel lonely?
Are more people experiencing loneliness?
What can I do if I feel lonely?

CLEP Tests

I had never heard of these exams, but they sound like an interesting education option for those looking to earn undergraduate college credit. Apparently you don't need to pay tuition on credits that you earn from taking these tests. So you can basically test out of certain classes freshman and sophomore level classes that you would need to take anyway.

Earning credits through the College Level Examination Program (CLEP)

In today’s fast-paced and competitive world a college degree is essential to finding a career, yet also extremely costly in many cases. An increasingly popular program among students and intellectuals looking to gain an advantage in obtaining a college degree is CLEP.
General Information on CLEP
The CLEP test offers a large variety of courses (34 in total), ranging in subjects such as: business, literature, foreign language, history/social sciences, science, and mathematics. More impressively, the college credits offered by the CLEP are accepted at nearly 3,000 colleges and universities nationwide.

Who is the CLEP for?

Other groups include home-schooled students, working adult students with hectic agendas, international students (looking to earn credit from the Foreign Language section of the CLEP), and military service members and veterans.
